Jimi Hendrix is one of the most legendary guitarist/frontmen ever. He began his career in the army, then played for Ike and Tina Turner, the Isley Brothers and Little Richard amongst others, before making it in hiis own right. He was also know fro his excesses, but not to the detriment of his music.
